At about the same distance from downtown Dallas and the Oklahoma border, we find Collin and Denton counties in Texas, both providing land for Celina, which is ideally positioned to encompass major regional corridors. The recent rapid growth of the city manifests both in terms of the appearance of new retail chains and a boom in its property market, not to mention the Golf Tournament, organized annually, to improve Celina’s Historic Downtown and the Main Street District.

The Historic Downtown Square offers an opportunity to learn about the rich history of the area through public art and serves as the host to such seasonal events as the Friday Night Market, Movie Night on the Square, Christmas on the Square, and Beware Of the Square.
